Music, Music, Music

Today was a great day. We traveled to Lansing to hear the Michigan State Spooktacular with members of the Music department. Thre were 300 musicans on the stage at one time. Our grandaughter is a member of the saxophone section of the marching band. It sure was nice to see Lindsay for the first time since school started. Kristin, Larry, Karen, and Susan made the whole day just perfect.

Hooray for Friday

Yep! Friday again. Again, another busy week. Today Larry and I are going to Gibralter Trade Center to get some lace for my baby internment gowns. Tomorrow we will meet Susan and go to Lansing to see Kristin perform in the Michigan State Marching Band. Sunday is a day of rest. I hope.

Busy,busy, busy

This has been a busy week. Funerals, grocery shopping for 2 weeks, crocheting hats for the Giving Christmas at Church. I also visited my sister who lives next Downtown Detroit. She is planning to get an apartment near her daughter soon. We performed 2 Petticoat adies programs this week. Getting up early and going to bed late. Oh boy!

Gifts

It seems that every day holds its many moods and conficts. It is our job to help those people along the process and do it with love. Sitting here makes me feel the whole world will share troubles and conflicts and the only thing that can help is faith. Faith in God, faith in the people we love and don't love, faith in the system, and faith in ourselves. May God share that gift with everyone.

TGIF 2

Yep, it's Friday again. It has been a busy week. Had 2 performances this week doing Petticoat Ladies. We have another 3 next week. Love doing it. Been crocheting a lot this week. Made a purse and and an afghan and helped my daughter Karen a little with her crocheting. It has been raining for two days now and it seems like fall is on its way. They said it has been snowing up north in Michigan. Snow can be an ugly word. Right?

TGIF 2

Well. it's Friday again. A minister friend of ours died and we went to the funeral home. He was the minister at our wedding 33 yuears ago. I am now working on a crochet lunch bag with multiple colors. I suppose I could use it to carry misc. junk if it is necessary. Life is good and I just love it.
