Wonderful Noise

Today is the day that the Lord has made . Let us rejoice and be glad in it..My children and their families made it to our house and we had dinner and fun, and laughter the entire time. We did miss Paul, Angie, and Brandon. Even the little ones in our family were here. They are so cute. Harrison and Colin are very close. Kristin will be going with the Michigan State Marching Band to the Alamo Bowl game on January 2. She will be playing the saxophone. Sue brought her new friend, Andy, and we were not overwhelming for him.
What a glorious day!

The big day is almost here.

Christmas is almost here. Christmas trees are cut down, put up and decorated. We have events to go this week. It started with the Knapp Wigilia. Seeing members of Chet's family. Must be at least 125 people in attendance. With David, Joan and the kids coming we have many plans. We have made old friends and some NEW FRIENDS and I don't mean Facebook. The Knapp family has a Chorus now made up of Adults and children. Everyone sang 12 days of Christmas. Today, my husband, Larry has started his 75th year. Cake and ice cream were in order. Now, we wait just like the children for Santa . And we all know he is real by the love in our hearts.

December 13

Well, it happens. My husband turns 74 tomorrow. We do not decorate for Christmas until Larry has his birthday, etc. Oh, its OK to do Christmas shopping but no decorations. Makes snse to me. My daughter and I did her shopping yesterday. Mine is all done. All we have to work on are the menus for our family dinners on Dec. 20 and Dec. 24. By the way, my son, David and his family will be here from Denver. It has been 2 years since I have seen the kids. Dave tells they are taller than Iam. We will see.

Parkinsons Disease

Today we had the opportunity of hearing a lecture on the brain surgery our pastor's
wife went through. This surgery has calmed her down and is not shaking like she used to. With me having Parkinson's, it was most intersting. A clip was shown with Michael J. Fox and his learning how to golf. His walk is similar to me. I hope I never get those symptoms. I don't think my family can handle that.

Here and there.

Thanksgiving has come and has gone. Turkey is finally finished. Starting to think about Christmas. We will be having the family over on 12/20. David should be in town sometime that day. Looking forward to seeing him and Joan and the kids. Doing a lot in the PETTICOAT LADIES SECTION of my life as I am now Booking Agent for the group. Starting piece it all together.
